Soil Management for Sustainability (CSS 3210) [Spring 2010]

Description

22 Presentations. Integrated perspectives on the physical, biological, and chemical aspects of soil management in the broader context of agroecosystems. Understanding of the interactions between soil, water, organisms, and chemical inputs forms the basis for discussions on conventional and organic cropping systems, soil health, water quality and quantity, bioenergy, greenhouse gases, and sustainability. Lab sessions elaborate through case studies and discussion of current topics.
