Nutrient Management and Research in Agro-Ecosystems (CSS 472)

Description

25 Presentations. Students become familiar with the basic concepts of soil fertility and biogeochemistry and how soil and environmental properties affect nutrient availability and cycling. Discussion focuses on the way organic farming and soil conservation affect the fate of nutrients in agro-ecosystems. Emphasis is placed on the way nutrient management can be improved without creating environmental hazards.
