Insect Development (ENTOM 4710)
Description
15 Presentations. Provides an in-depth treatment of the morphogenetic events of insect development and the genetic programs controlling them. Much of the course focuses on the development of the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster, with particular emphasis on the establishment of the basic insect body plan, organogenesis, and metamorphosis.
